MAY 30 2008 / JUN 21 2008
Dear Girl,
It’s been some time since you left. Do you feel your life in here was like a dream? Your stay in here was just too short.
I hope everything is ok with you in your country. As I’m reviewing your photos, I think you grew a little more mature than you first came here. Maybe it’s just my illusion.
It’s so nice to have you around in the past few months. We had many pleasant memories and I felt young again! However, since the minute we met, our separation was destined. It’s sad but inevitable, so I decided to treat you the best every time I could. Then, by the time you left, I had no regrets.
It’s kind of Buddha’s teaching to cherish every moment. As a follower of Buddhism (not very faithful, tho…), I try to help people, especially those who first come to a foreign country. It’s a good way to make friends, too. Recently I made a Mexican friend by helping her finding an apartment for June. I also met the girl from my own country and let her keep the desk and chair I let the previous tenant used at first. We always meet new people, but let us remember the old ones.
We won’t see each other as often as before. I hope you still remember me.
Stay in contact!
Sincerely
David
